One of my neighbors/buddies is an instructor/RSO at Elm Fork. He has confirmed to me that yes, indeed, these human scum are training at Elm Fork (and wearing antifahahaha shirts/clothing)...they apparently are well within their rights to be there, as the management has apparently kicked them out before...and I guess they maybe have done some legal wranging? But either way, they are there, they are *very* closely watched by the RSOs...he relayed this encounter with one of the slime: "So, are you guys afraid of us?" He just laughed at them and said "Shoot NO!!! I've seen you shoot!!!"

The lone cop was outnumbered and was waiting for backup to arrive. Crowd was dispersed within 7 minutes of him showing up. I do agree that those who were illegally blocking traffic need to be charged. Tolerating bad behavior only encourages it in the future. I was discussing this with a council member tonight who is in agreement.

I agree one lone cop could not have dispersed that crowd. His only real option was to try and keep folks separated until reinforcements arrived. What disgusts me is our police chief saying we need to negotiate with BLM, a terrorist group. We need a replacement for that bigoted racist ASAP.

I agree with your assessment of the options available to the solo officer. I also agree that the statement released by Plano PD and excuses made by the Plano PD chief are troubling at best. I am hoping that city council raises these issues at a meeting in the near future. They were legally prohibited from doing so on monday as they are required by law to have the agenda posted for 72 hours prior to being discussed in council. This went viral on Saturday, so the 72 hour mark didn't end until Tuesday. In talking with one of the council members, this should be brought up at the next meeting and he has some questions for the chief regarding the statement released, as well as some of his public answers regarding the incident.

From the video it is clear the man in question was #1 so aggressive another armored rioter was holding him back, #2 wearing body armor, #3 wearing a full face covering with sunglasses, #4 had the weapon pointed at the motorist at full extension while moving towards the motorist aggressively. #5 continued to be aggressive.

From the radios and coordination the entire operation is clearly a very organized, provoked event. BLM can not claim self defense per § 9.31 Self-Defense when they provoked the incident but the police have declined to take action.
