If it is a College graduation and not posted, some of us will be able to defend ourselves. None of the highschoolers are going to have that option. For me, that would be even more of a reason to carry.

That is absolutely a reason we should be allowed to carry. However, under current law it would be illegal to do so if at a school-sponsored event. If I remember correctly, the penalties are also much higher than just carrying past a 30.06 sign (which is also illegal, and I'm not advocating doing so).

As long as they didn't post it 30.06 while determining their "exclusion zones" you're correct, it's not a sporting event and you're good to carry.

Yea that's kind of that I figured and they did not to my knowledge include that in the "exclusion zone".

A google search for their policy will probably tell you if it's off limits or not.
