Re: Parking lot of a government building?
I will try and make this question short and to the point. I will be going to a graduation at Lackland AFB, TX and I will be staying at an off base Air Force/DoD run hotel (The Kelly Inn). Now it still falls under the Air Force Lodging/DoD, but it’s not physically located on the Air Force base. Now ...

Re: This is why I will not own any Apple products!
This is the Clinton Era "Clipper Chip" all over again. Someone just sent me a link to the details of that story: https://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=231146 The intent was, of course, that if and when the time came that the government had a "lawful" reason to intercept data i...

Re: Brass Pickup Friendly Range in San Antonio
Lonestar Handgun encourages you to pick up your brass. Not a private club, but a nice outdoor range with steel targets. If you get to know your neighboring shooter, you may be able to collect their brass as well. http://www.lonestarhandgun.com Thanks for the tip. I will call them to see what their ...

Brass Pickup Friendly Range in San Antonio
I have searched the interwebs to my hearts content but haven't found a range that is friendly to the brass collector. I am looking for a range that doesn't try and resell the spent brass. I understand most of the ranges want to turn around and sell the brass to the reloaders but I would like to find...

I would imagine being upfront and honest with him will get your point across. I will try and keep this place updated on the policies if they change down here in San Antonio at any of the bases.

Re: Firearms on Military Posts
There isn't an outright ban on carrying your weapon on post as I am in the same situation as you. Every installation commander has the option to allow weapons on his or her installation. Here is a story about Dyess over in Abilene where the Base Commander does allow it. http://www.dyess.af.mil/news...

Re: This is why I will not own any Apple products!
I don't see what the issue is? Apple is looking out for the privacy of its customers. If they create a backdoor into the OS then they open a can of worms that can't be put back in. The phone is owned by the shooter's employer (San Bernadino County I think). I'm sure they want the FBI to be able to ...

Re: San Antonio River Walk
I carry every time I go downtown to the Riverwalk. I went a few weeks ago for a Convention and even open carried out on the Riverwalk with no issues. I also carried into the San Antoni Convention Center even though they had both 30.06 & 30.07 as the Convention Center is owned by the City of San ...

I guess this would be a no on the group buy. Well if anyone ever wants one I suggest you call for your order as they quote over the phone was $500 cheaper than their website.

Sturdy Gun Safe Group Buy???
As I am fairly new here I was looking for some other people who might be interested in going in for a Sturdy Safe group buy so we can get a little discount. I don't have all of the particulars at the moment but I do remember seeing on other forums that you can get ~15% off. I am not in the market to...
