Abraham - I really wish I could answer your question, but regardless of who they are and their motives there are always unforeseen outcomes and consequences from their actions.Abraham wrote:Clinton?

Or?
Are the protestors genuine or hired thugs?
Anyone here know or care to speculate?
One of the posts was talking about assertiveness of LEOs in such a situation. No one can accurately predict whether LEO intervention will make the situation better or worse.
Many years ago I witnessed a couple of "demonstrations" that started out as a bunch of college students protesting the [Vietnam] war.
I don't know who organized them. Some said it was communist radicals, outside agitators, Yippies, long haired hippies, etc.
I know that the vast majority of the people were just curious students standing around to observe and see what was happening.
A couple of these demonstrations escalated into riots after the intervention of law enforcement.
Several lives were lost, a lot of property damage [Bank of America burned to the ground], people were injured, busted heads and broken bones and many ended up with criminal records. All for standing around and watching.
The people who benefited the most were a few DAs whose careers took off and some young defense lawyers who made a lot of money from the new crop of clients.
In the end, nothing positive was gained. Very sad.
