So I guess Pakistan would be an example where gun laws are working. I wish more politicians who want more gun laws would point to Pakistan as one of their ideal places in the world. After all it did work out for Osama for a really long time.

He was in a foreign country that has their own laws. Maybe he broke the law, but I doubt that it was intentional.
The Special Agent doesn't make the policy in the U.S, so I don't agree that "he got a taste of their own medicine".
I hope that the State Department can get him back home ASAP.
