The Texas constitution has certain provisions where local governments can not "overrule" certain state laws, but apparently knife regulations are not included. Maybe this oversight will be remedied soon.papajohn1964 wrote:Are they still illegal in San Antonio? How can a city overrule a State law?

I don't think that's the case that "those are few and far between". Most of the blades of folders, fixed blade and automatic knives have a "false edge" and are not be classified as daggers.TomsTXCHL wrote:Isn't it the case that an OTF has to be a single-edged blade and not a "dagger" style (with both sides sharpened)? I never really considered an OTF until I read this thread. Since I am left-handed, I like the fact that they are ambidextrous.
