Yes, if I buy one from the store or a gun show. First, I'll ask the owner if it's okay. My time is too valuable and gas is too expensive to have to make a second trip to return a holster that doesn't fit. If you don't feel comfortable trying it out in the store then take it out to your car and try it.

Most of the time I buy mail order and buy a holster custom fit to the particular gun. I buy from well known suppliers so I have confidence that the gun will fit properly. Whether or not you will like it is a different story. Since they are custom, you can't return them for a refund.
