People react differently to drugs, depending on the length of time they take them and the dosages. I remember as a young adult I had my wisdom teeth taken out and I would get nauseous if I took codeine. I had all four taken out at once and they really hurt so I had to make the trade off between the pain and the nausea. Now, it doesn't bother me. I know some people it puts them to sleep, but it doesn't even make me drowsy.KD5NRH wrote:I still wonder how it works for some things. I had an abscessed tooth, and the doc prescribed Norco for the pain. (In addtion to the antibiotics, obviously.) Between the hot flashes and the motion sickness from it screwing with my equilibrium, I just don't see how anyone could find that pleasant at all. As soon as the tooth got down to a dull ache, I switched to aspirin.sugar land dave wrote:Addiction is such an ugly thing.
The same with alcohol. If I drank as much as some people that I have seen, I would be sick as a dog.
