A suspected pimp accused in the murder of off-duty constable Ronnie Brewer, turned himself in to HPD Headquarters Friday afternoon. Lee Eldridge Sonier, 31, is charged with capital murder.

Here's an update. Two people were arrested for the murder.
Lee Eldridge Sonier, 31, and Judy Lucille Hambrick, 40, were charged in the shooting of Ronnie Brewer. Hambrick was arrested on Tuesday on charges of theft of a firearm. Police said Hambrick admitted taking Brewer’s weapon.

Police are now suspecting "road rage" as the motive for the killing. The evidence is suggesting that the officer was driving his vehicle when we was shot. The police released a suspect that they had earlier arrested.

This just in: People arrested two people in the slaying of Deputy Constable Ronnie Earl Brewer. They have not been charged and their names were not released.

Harris County Precinct 4 Deputy Constable Ronnie Earl Brewer, 47, was found shot to death in his personal car. Two suspects, a man and a woman have been arrested. Robbery appeared to be the motive. Sources said a woman apparently lured Brewer to the secluded spot, where a man was waiting to rob him.

Houston LEO Found Shot in Car
A man found shot to death in a car that slammed into a pole early this morning appears to be a law enforcement officer. The man was discovered slumped inside the car after it ran into the pole. The officer was off duty and was not in uniform.
