Before the robot was disabled, the pictures gave the police an accurate layout of the room showing positions of cover and concealment, furniture, entrances, exit paths, windows, etc. The pictures showed what kind of weapon he had, whether he was wearing body armor, a gas mask, etc. The video also showed whether or not he had a hostage or an accomplice.
