When I first read about the officer losing an eye I wondered the same thing. That is one reason I posted the follow-up story. I saw on the news last night that Sgt Kelemen is recovering and will be able to return to work with the Conroe Police Department.

What a horrible place to get shot. At least the BG got his due. Prayers for Sgt. Kelemen's physical and mental recovery.
