It seems like Sig has been pushing their DAK trigger for the last couple of years. I believe that is partially because of the LEO market.

As a side note, the magazine release looks very similar, if not identical, to the P239. I have not had any problems with it accidently getting pushed and dropping the magazine. Of course the P239 is too big to carry in my pocket.

I have shot the Beretta PX4 Storm 9 mm Subcompact which weighs in at 26 ozs. It is very nice shooting gun with very manageable recoil. At 6.2" OL and 4.8" Height, it is bigger than the Sig290. It has a double stack magazine, so it's too big for pocket carry.

I will check into this model. After I see some consumer reviews and holsters for it.
I don't expect a small price, just because it's a smaller gun. I will guess that the price is about the same as a P239, maybe $50-100 less.
