I am not sure what NRA courses you are referring, but I have taken Personal Protection Inside The Home and Personal Protection Outside the Home at PSC. The courses are not "tactical" in the sense of para-military training, but they do teach practical tactics for personal protection for the gunowner and their family. Both are NRA courses and are a good value.
