17 year old girl steals a 2 million dollar airplane and crashes it. Arrested after finding out she wasn't from a protected group or didn't do it to as a protest for climate change.
Airport officials are none the wiser as to how the teen managed to get into the plane and start the engines.
1) didn't lock the cabin door?, and 2) Microsoft Flight Simulator?
wonder if she pulled the wheel chocks, or just ran over them.....

HUNTINGTON PARK, California – (CBS) Police in Southern California are turning to technology in order to fight crime by deploying a robot out on to the streets to keep a watchful eye over public area.

The robot, dubbed “HP Robocop,” is described as an “autonomous data machine” and is expected to be officially unveiled by the Huntington Park police department on Tuesday.

Equipped with 36-degree video cameras, Huntington Park police will deploy “HP RoboCop” to monitor and surveil areas such as parks and city buildings. The robot will then be able to relay video footage from its cameras to police headquarters in order to facilitate fast and safe responses from police officers.

“HP RoboCop” will also be able to roll down sidewalks and recite phrases to members of the public, such as “excuse me” and “good day to you.”

Huntington Park lies about six miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles.

Big Brother (the George Orwell one, not the stupid TV show) is watching.....and I'm guessing that's actually '360 degree'. Hope they bought the extended warranty/service plan. They'll need it.......

When Johnny Rotten (sex pistols) tells you LA is rotten, maybe you should pay attention.
'No, I'm a bloke that's worked hard for his money and I expect to be able to use my own front door,' he firmly stated.
Gee Johnny, I guess 'anarchy' ain't so cool after all when you're a senior (oh god, he's MY age) and it's happening on YOUR front door. Only reason this isn't more hilarious is because it's also sad........and by the way, your statement sounds supiciously like CAPITALISM.....

Re: CA: No place but California

My parents sometimes after talking to someone would mutter something about '20 lbs in a 10 lb bag', :grumble but that looked like a 20 lb bag to me. At least they bagged it....... :thumbs2:

Maybe they're trying to create more jobs for the illegals who work as dishwashers.....(lipstick on the drinking glass rims)

My first experience with computers was punch cards too. I believe it was an IBM 1401. You had to schedule time to use it.
Sure you're not thinking of the OTHER 'Arnold movie', "Commando"? Now THAT was a gun store!
