Re: Easterwood Airport College Station
It appears the airport is not just 'attached' to the campus, but is essentially surrounded by it. The college owns an airport in the middle of campus as they have offered aviation related degrees well back into the previous century. Sort of by default it has also served as a public regional airport. Given that it does support commercial aviation use, one would think it reasonable for them to hang a 30.07 or some other reminder that "Hey, college campus here, no open carry". But for whatever reason, they have not seen fit to do so. The article http://today.tamu.edu/2010/08/23/easter ... os-valley/ offers a good overview of the kinds of activity the facility has supported.

Re: Easterwood Airport College Station
Governing document for Campus Carry Texas A&M College Station is http://rules-saps.tamu.edu/PDFs/34.06.02.M1.pdf which makes no mention of the airport. I am inferring from your statement that you carried at the airport previously, that there are no 30.06/30.07 signs posted at the airport. I'd further postulate that, out of the group composed of you and the security guard, that AT LEAST one of you has been misinformed in this case....
