When smartphone photographing signage for entry in Texas3006.com I have been approached a few times by security or owners/manager along the lines of "hey, what are you doing" (I think mostly they're afraid I'm working for a lawyer and they're being sued). I've been telling them that each photo of a business storefront not already taken gets me 10 points in an internet competition (makes it sound like free advertising).
