Anyway, the OP in this long string of sidetrips reminds me of the time a patrol cop took issue with me for "running a stop sign" on my Honda XL350. When I stated "I believe sir, that if you step back out the patio gate and look at the back of the 'stop sign' you will see that it's triangular and is actually a yield sign", he did so, muttered something I couldn't hear, and stomped back to his patrol car.

I never did find out why that intersection had a stopsign if you were going west, but a yield sign if you were going east. About 6 months later they replaced the yield sign with a stop sign.........
