To support the economy I went yesterday and bought myself a new (to me ) s&w 29-3 with 6” barrel and nickel finish from a dealer on GB. Should be here next Tuesday.

What say you? Starting new thread so that we don’t diverge from the original question / jest of the other one.
I personally did not get it. My wife and I (she’s 23+ year military, still serving) work our butts off and pay thru the nostrils and heck, even a $5 check would have been nice.
But in grand scheme of things I consider us to be blessed enough and if it helps someone/economy, then so be it. It is out of my control anyways.
The only thing that sort of puzzles me is when folks who vehemently oppose anything that Government does and see everything that Government does with a huge skeptical eye are suddenly let’s say...happy?
