Also, in response to previous posts, Charles Butt's position on several other issues confirm he is a bleeding heart liberal. I disagree with him vehemently on those issues. However, from a business standpoint, I do not mind honoring HEB's position with regard to open carry.

Those who want to go there and spend their money there can do just that, that's the great thing about this country.
Those who see this move in a different light, will go elsewhere.

Speaking strictly for me now, I didn't come 5500 miles from a h... hole where rights were suppressed only to be deaf and blind to a slow crawling encroachment upon my rights. I have seen this tyrannical metastasis before, and you can count me out.

For me though, it's a matter of principle. I came from a war torn region where we lived under utter oppression and tyranny. I came here 18 years ago to live freely and enjoy my new Country.
I detest those who want to see the boot on my neck again, however they are and wherever they may be.

If my right is to OC if I choose to do so, and if a business such as H.E.B. chooses to infringe upon my right, which they certainly are allowed to do of course, then, that business is off my list of places where I may spend my hard earned dollars.
So,they want my money, but they also want to appease ignoramuses and my enemies in order to get their money also.
Count me out.
