Re: I Created a Business Card for Protesting 30.06/30.07 Signs
Let's be honest, the chances of these cards getting to management are slim. A cashier will likely throw them away. You are probably right, but the same could be said for an email or phone call. The manager might give some generic response about safety and customer concerns that disregards everythin...

I Created a Business Card for Protesting 30.06/30.07 Signs
I've been reading threads where people call or email business owners to express their disappointment with 30.06/30.07 signs, and I thought to myself, why not make it easier and save yourself the hassle. So today, I created this handy business card that will fit in your wallet. Of course, if you want...

Re: Mixed Use Properties w/Apartments - Such as The Domain
What if you're carrying to a friend's vehicle in your apartment complex? Is that legal?

Re: TX: Coed at UNT and the designated driver murdered in Denton New Years Eve
I attend UNT, and sadly this is the second death in recent weeks. This tragedy has created a ton of controversy on social media. One of the lowlifes in the car with the shooter sent this message to a friend of the victim. What an idiot. Unbelievable...

Re: Which pistol for pocket carry?
The Glock 43 is amazing. It fits perfectly in the pocket of my hoodie with a holster and you can't even tell it's there.

Re: 60 days waiting
I have the same problem when I call them, they don't really give me any concrete information other than "currently in background check" which is kinda frustrating. They probably have an insane amount of applications to process, especially after all the crazy terrorist stuff going on. They ...

Militia standoff going on right now in Oregon!
Oregon occupation: Militia 'willing to kill or be killed' occupy US wildlife reserve A group of militiamen have occupied a wildlife refuge in Oregon, it has been reported. The self-proclaimed “patriots”, say they have around 150 members stationed in the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, The Oregoni...

Re: homeless person trespassing at apartment complex
I would have considered giving this guy $10-20 while telling him to move on. These guys are master manipulators & will use & victimize those who befriend him. Criminals and some homeless people are definitely master manipulators. I often wonder if I need to be even more rude to strangers li...

Re: homeless person trespassing at apartment complex
^I did some research on the laws regarding this, and yes, I think you're right. http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/Docs/CR/htm/CR.14.htm Art. 14.01. OFFENSE WITHIN VIEW. (a) A peace officer or any other person, may, without a warrant, arrest an offender when the offense is committed in his presen...

Re: homeless person trespassing at apartment complex
^Good suggestion, I just emailed the property manager and told them exactly that. They sent out an email before telling all residents to lock the door to the laundry room, and obviously that did nothing to deter him. Update: I just checked the laundry room and he left a ton of clothes and a torn up ...

Re: homeless person trespassing at apartment complex
Not to discredit your decisions so far; I personally would have tried visiting in conversation to whether I could have helped him find (warm) shelter or a different place to stay. Being homeless isn't a sign of a "criminal" ( not assuming he is or isn't a criminal) & I firmly believe ...

Re: homeless person trespassing at apartment complex
A word of advice don't contact anyone you plan on calling the cops on especially when they know where you live. Calling the police is usually a last resort, but this has been an ongoing problem that won't solve itself without police intervention. Somehow he found out where I live before I even open...

homeless person trespassing at apartment complex
A homeless kid has been living in the laundry room at my apartment complex and I have been trying to get him arrested for trespassing. I have emailed the apartment management more than once and they have so far done nothing except tell residents to lock the door to the laundry room, which obviously ...

Re: Very long wait time, 90+ days...
Yes... appears there is a backlog. Your clock doesn't start (I believe) until all items are received. When did you receive your letter stating all items were received? I received the letter and sent in the final document online last week. I expect to get my CHL soon if everything is good with the a...
