I was hunting in OK over the weekend and didn't see a single person with a pistol strapped on, and I still had mine concealed as well.
From what I have read on an Oklahoma based board that I am on, it has really been pretty quiet and a non issue, and the guys on that board actually seem a little disappointed.
Several have gotten "looks" and a couple have gotten comments, but no one has run away screaming for the police.
