I have also driven from El Paso to Dallas or San Antonio with a Crossbreed at 4 o'clock with no discomfort.

I've tested sever braking and turns. I use a sticky type mat on the seat and the shape of my buckets keep it secure. Now in my old 70s bench seat, I would agree with you.
