I was 3yo and don't recall anything, my father said he was down in the Trinity river bottoms target shooting with a 1917 Enfield Eddystone (which I still have) when a couple of Tarrant Co. Deputies walked up and ask for I.D. he showed them his reserve police I.D. and driver's license, they then told him Kennedy had been shot and that he might want to just go on home!
