I fail to see how this is even remotely related to the two felony indictments at hand, other than to show that you don't like him on a personal basis for some other very unrelated reason, so therefore he should go to jail for this? The Texas Optometry Board is a black hole for complaints filed by injured patients. The board continues to try to extend its power while doing little to protect the public. The board is nothing more than a band of Governor Rick Perry's hand picked political puppets used to further his political agenda and prevent medical malpractice lawsuits in support of Governor Perry's 2003 tort reform. Tort reform in Texas has created a dangerous environment for the public and a goldmine for doctors who now have little risk of being sued for medical malpractice. Politics and medicine do not mix.
I only point out that there is corruption in Austin under Perry for those that believe otherwise. I was a bit too quick to jump on this as my reasons for wanting to see Perry go to prison are personal since I deal with the consequences of his personal political agenda everyday. He has made political decisions that are not in the best interest of the majority of Texans. Right, wrong, or indifferent, I hope he rots.
