Re: What Did You Do In The Reloading Room This Week?
Having finally sourced the remaining materials needed (primers mostly), I set up all of my seating dies and loaded my first ever batch of ammunition :hurry: Did 50 each of 9mm, .45, and .223. Since I'm still learning and new at this, in each set of 50 I decided to work up the charge weights. So I ha...

Re: Dem lawmakers fleeing Texas
Aren't the seats vacated if one is absent too long as well? I seem to recall reading that in regards to this, but not sure on the rules or specifics

Re: Ammo storage
I’ve done it that same way (minus the dessicant packs) for years with no apparent problems with any of my ammo.

What he said, I imagine any reloader in your area would be happy to take that off your hands.

Re: What Did You Do In The Reloading Room This Week?
Loaded some shells, these are my second batch. My first batch was not as good looking due to a loose adjustment on the final crimp station on my shell press. Considering I'm still new to reloading, I'm pleased with the results.

Re: Stay Warm and Safe the Next Few Days

Re: Stay Warm and Safe the Next Few Days
All depends on how many heaters, and any other loads you want to run, like refrigerators, freezers, lighting, and any critical loads you have like a water well pump. But yes, you can run space heaters on a generator. Most portable 120 Volt space heaters top out at 1,500 Watts, so if you want to run ...

Re: Stay Warm and Safe the Next Few Days
I don’t know if he strips are 220 v cause you get the square root of 3 thing but 120v 15kw heat strips would be 15x 10 = $150 an hour to run. I got my update for Sunday it was “only” $115.00 for Sunday only. I’m probably not the only one, but bills are in number of new handguns, college tuition is ...

Re: Article: What’s The Best Way To Clean Brass?
I have been wanting to just prep my .308 brass and maybe reprime it to sell it. What are the tools I need to deprime. To just deprime without resizing, you’ll want to get a Universal Depriming die for your press. Those essentially are straight walled dies with a depriming pin. Every press manufactu...

Re: Getting started
Santa Claus left a nice surprise under the tree for me in the form of a Hornady Lock n Load single stage kit . Even came with an Auto Charge powder dispenser. So now I have a press, powder dispenser/scale, dies for each caliber I shoot, a Lee universal decapper, and a wet tumbler. Over the pa...

Re: What Did You Do In The Reloading Room This Week?
I just set up some of my new equipment that I got for Christmas (Hornady Lock n Load single stage) Bent and broke a decapper pin on the Lee Universal decapper die. I had missed a steel case 223. The pin never lifted in the collet like it was supposed too, likely because it came from the factory too ...

Re: Reloading supply package deal (odd calibers)
I don’t have anything that shoots those calibers except shotgun. I am interested in the primers as well, the small pistol and small rifle. I’m just getting started in reloading (I’m running a Hornady press and dies). I have not been able to find any primers at all other than shotgun. I’m interested ...
