Re: Invited into a neighbor's home. Can I carry?
Some of these replies are sounding a little arrogant. If one is going in another's home as an invited guest on a social visit, not as, say a business service call, what gives one the right to carry without the homeowner's knowledge? Does their invite give one this right? This is not a business, it's...

Re: Invited into a neighbor's home. Can I carry?
I may be confused here, most likely the case, but seems I remember a discussion a few months ago about not legally be allowed to carry on private property according to some state law. Seems I remember someone giving an example of having a cookout and inviting friends over, cc and oc welcome, that t...

Re: Did we get shut out this year
Texas' congress is no different than the US congress, where the majority of Republicans are just rinos. I see very little difference between demos and reps on the local, state or national level. There are a few exceptions but far too few to make a difference. Trump campaigned on draining the swamp i...

Re: Avenger Arms in Stafford
Makes me think of a nudist owning a clothing store. Why sell something you don't believe in? This whole thing just reeks. Just because he caved in and removed the .06 sign doesn't mean his attitude towards people carrying guns has changed. There's way too many mom and pop guns stores that welcome oc...

Re: Avenger Arms in Stafford
He may have taken down the sign(s) but I would bet the farm that his ideology on this subject has not changed. I am just as pigheaded, if I lived in the area I still would not do business with him in the future regardless of what kind of signs he had or didn't have. He reeks of anti 2A.

Re: Avenger Arms in Stafford
They seem to be a little elitist and, frankly, anti 2A. If they know the first thing about 2A and guns they would NOT have the signs up under any circumstances. A gun store posting 06 signs makes totally no sense. If they do take down the signs, we would be crazy to patronize them in the future. The...

Re: New .357 purchase
I have a 6" blued, bought new in mid 90s. Really a sweet shooter. I only wish it was stainless. Only revolver that comes close is the 2-1/4" stainless SP101 .357 that followed me home a few months ago. You are going to love this GP.

Re: It's Time for National Reciprocity
This is going to put major pressure from the voters to give them equal rights to those of outa staters. Haha, no. If a majority of the voters wanted to have shall-issue licenses, then they'd already be voting that way. National Reciprocity, at it's very least, would allow me to drive through the co...

Re: It's Time for National Reciprocity
Keep the Federal government out of our business . They are already intrusive enough . The Feds will only make a mess of it . They can not be trusted . National reciprocity sounds good but will backfire in the end . No faith on the Federal level .....none . Will come back to torment and bite you on ...

I've never bought a patch. Like some have said, I use cut up tee shirts. I even strip and lube ticking for muzzle loading. I guess I like it old school.

Re: A heads up on Kalifornia
And again, I'm focusing less on California more on how close Texas can come to this. Remember, Hillary got 43.2% of the Texas votes; that's almost half. The pressure is definitely there. How much longer will we hold them off?
Texas is just a few liberal transplants away from being li...
