Alright now - it's getting a little warm. Maybe the Mods should take over. JayCee - wanna shut everybody up and get some props - point to a newspaper piece on the home breakin. Otherwise - your tales, well - while interesting topics - are just tales. In one you are justifying throwing rounds at another motorist because they are reckless. You can't do that son. In this one you are justifying your possession of weapons because of some cracked up felon and another incident that happened to a friend. If your thread was asking folks why they own weapons (or carry concealed), then simple enough... Me = raised around them, hunted, shoot clays, part of my job back in the day, and now because I feel my security is my own responsibility. I think you set a format for yourself when no-one was able to convince you that shooting at the tires of a reckless potential gangbanger was a really bad idea. You got a little testy there. Now - with the recent post - although I did not see a question in it - you explained your reasons for having a weapon and kinda sorta asked about why other people have weapons(?). Folks are probably just reflecting back to the earlier post and thinkin you are just baitin' them. Take a breath, maybe ask a question a different way. Sure, there are people that have obtained weapons because the have had close calls or incidents like you describe - but not everyone has gotten a weapon just in anticipation of a shootout with gangsta types. That is the way your first posts have come across. We OK now??
