I'm willing to try anything once! Haha But honestly the issue was more of a grip jabbing into my ribs and a barrel into my hip. I'm sure loose-er fitting jeans could help, but so far today this galco king tuk has made all of the difference. It places my gun much higher and has more of a "sweat guard" on the back to cusion your skin against the gun.TexasTornado wrote:You may try different pants too. I always wear my jeans a little big but I've lost 25 lbs since I last wore these (the dryer didnt quite get my other jeans dry) so these are about 2 sizes too large for me, but soooo much more comfortable with my OWN holster. With my other jeans the thumb break strap digs into my hip just a little. Not so bad as to put it in my back oak but enough to adjust it when I get back to my truck.jb2012 wrote:I had a slight failure today. I was carrying in a milt sparks iwb at about 2:30 and that holster is dreadfully uncomfortable accompanied by a 1911 if sitting for extended periods- i.e. during class. So I ended up just putting it in my backpack. Tomorrow I'll try my galco king tuck and see how that works out. On a side note, I thought I was having a blow-off semester, but after both classes I had today, that idea is unfortunately non-existent

Re: Carrying on Campus
Since all of my classes will be in the ag building I'm pretty good to go. Surprisingly enough I have had two teachers (both agriculture teachers), one last fall and one this summer, openly oppose campus carry. But both of them do seem constitutional enough that I am confident they will not be crossing any lines
