Re: Can you send paperwork electronically after you have snail mailed?

Yes you could send it in electronically. It certainly wouldn't hurt to do so as according to them they don't have it. I would think they would have received it after 3 weeks. In fact I would do that immediately. Am I correct in assuming your paperwork is the CHL-100? Your CHL instructor was wrong. A...

Re: When stopped as a passenger

No. Don't volunteer anything. Only present your CHL if the LEO asks you specifically for ID and if you are carrying. Although I would present my CHL even if I wasn't carrying just to avoid the LEO coming back after running my license and asking if I'm armed. Other than that don't say anything. You h...

Re: checking stauts of CHL

https://txapps.texas.gov/txapp/txdps/chl/ Or you can call (512) 424-7293. I would call because the website only seems to update (it will give you the option to change address, report license lost/stolen, etc.) when they mail your card out. They will be able to tell you if your app is still being rev...

Re: Card came today.

Did the DPS website ever change for you? Sort of I noticed that there was a couple things to the right like Change of address, renewal other lines, but no notice or something to the fact everything was approved and being mailed :confused5 That's what he's talking about. Usually when the site changes...

Re: And Here We Go

I don't think the multiple addresses will slow it down. I put down two addresses on my app, Texas and Louisiana, and I still got mine before my brother who has never had an address outside of Texas. We sent our paperwork in on the same day too. As far as the misdemeanor, I'm not a lawyer but I think...
