I am in a little bit of a fingerprinting dead zone apparently. Locations near me, 40 minutes to Galveston, 30 minutes to La Marque, 30 minutes to Pearland, 20 minutes to South Houston, 35 minutes to Baytown.

I had an appointment for Friday at Galveston (was first available for me when I signed up). I had to wait a week and a half because every location was booked. The day before my apt I called ahead to confirm and they told me I could only pay with a cashier's check or money order. So I took out a money order and was ready to do.

3 Hours before my appoint I got a call from Morphotrust that the person who works the Galveston location had unexpectedly quit their job.

I went online to reschedule and there were no appointments for 2 more weeks. I called the number and complained to the manager and they got me into the Baytown location on Saturday morning. The Baytown location took credit cards, personal checks, etc, and was very accommodating. Took me 10 minutes to get in and out and an hour and 10 minutes for getting there and back.
I feel your pain. Took me 3 weeks to get a fingerprinting appointment. When I finally went to my appt. the fingerprinting lady had no clue what she was doing, and I got a call a few days later saying I had to come in and get reprinted. So, I called the CHL hotline and was told my prints WERE uploaded the first time I was printed and that if I were to get reprinted, it would cause my CHL to be delayed. When I got my NC license, we had to get printed by the local Sheriff office, that was a lot smoother and quicker.
