Maybe I wanna EDC some body armor. Maybe I want to wear some to the range in case the guy next to me is really terrible. Maybe I want to wear some to work if their policy forbids guns. That would be a fun sight, if a place is posted 30.06/30.07, don some body armor before going in.

It is good they are showing the general public LTC holders

1) are regular people of all types
2) are not crazy
3) can actually defend themselves with a gun
4) will actually hit the bad guy and not just spray and pray

Yeah it was. I was surprised at how well some of the participants fought the active shooter even with having very little training.

WFAA in Dallas is planning on doing pieces every day this week featuring gun topics. One of the ads I've seen a couple times involves them "testing" LTCers in a simulated mass shooting where the shooter has an AR-15 type rifle.

Might be interesting to watch.

Hopefully they also know going up against AR-15s is not the only reason to carry a gun.
