You are correct. I completely forgot that the desert warrior has the solid trigger.KinnyLee wrote:My shooting partner out at Frontsight was shooting one. I was fairly impressed with it. What's not to like? Series 1 safeties, internal extractor, with the "KimPro" finish. I do noticed that some Warriors have a skeleton aluminum trigger while others have a solid trigger. Other than the color, that is the only difference I can see.

It is actually more the color in the first pic. It looks more green in the second pic, but I think that has more to do with my pack of photography skills than anything else.seadawg221 wrote:txinvestigator wrote:I have a Desert Warrior. I carry a Kimber CDP daily. The Warrior has less muzzle flip and is back on target noticably quicker than the CDP. (The CDP is no slouch, and I qualified on TFTT's Advanced Tactical Pistol Course with the CDP ;) )
The warrior has great balance. I plan on using it at the next school I go to.
I do notice the difference in weight when I carry it. It is not uncomfortable, just different.
If you were in Dallas you could come shoot mine.
Here is mine after I received it and after I got in protection mode.
MAN! That looks nice! It's hard to tell exactly what color it is, every picture I see looks different. I guess that's why I need to see one first!
