What nice is with the standard AR you can get a .50 beowolf upper and use the standard AR magazines. It'll only hold 10 rounds, but WHAT FUN!!ThunderDownUnder wrote:I have shot both and prefer the CDP for a carry gun.

If not , I would recommend a standard AR-15 ( A2 Rifle or M4gery) before going to a more exotic caliber. If you already have an AR, go for it.
I talked to a real shooter who has a .50 beowulf AR and he said he's had a lot of fun with it.
The more stuff I get and try, the more I appreciate simplicity in design, supply, and use.
