Re: Attention: Seeking Legal Advice -- Charles, can you help?
Why, when the police arrived, did you put your handgun on your person? If you legally had a CHL, then I don't see what the problem would be. Why would there be a "special reason" to disarm yourself when they was no report of shots fired?? Is there a proximity clause or something, when wit...

Re: Attention: Seeking Legal Advice -- Charles, can you help?
I am sorry, but there is more to this than you are telling us. I have made many calls like this, and there are usually three sides; yours, his and the truth. You will get a bunch of replies that tell you that you were done wrong, but in reality we don't know squat cause we were not there. Why would ...

There is no definitive way bad guys behave when shot. We have all oohed at the guy shot by multiple rounds who continued his deadly assault. Frangibles CAN stop a bad guy, but there is no guarantee. Same as hollow points. http://www.theboxotruth.com/docs/bot4.htm From the Box o'truth Started out wit...

Re: When to call 911
. One thought is that if you call before, there will be a recorded version of the dispatcher telling you to stay put. A dispatcher has no legal authority over me, and their instructions to me hold no legal requirement over me. :iagree: Even thought they have no legal authority, couldn't transcripts...

It's clearly illegal. I just said I don't see a problem with it, because while illegal, it's not wrong . And yes, there is a big difference. That is a fascinating mindset. I have an 11 year old daughter, what other laws can I tell her that to do the proscribed acts are illegal, but not wrong. Just ...

Sitting in your home paying close attention to what you are doing does not make a smart move. Huh? :???: I thought playing close attention to what one is doing was always a smart move.
