Good luck on your search. I'd suggest narrowing your "like" list and then go put your hands on them. I was looking for a 3" and went to the SCP after I found the 3" didnt fit my hands

I carry a Kimber SCP HD (steel frame) and have confidence in it (or wouldn't use it for an edc). Like the 4" barrel, full size grip with rounded heel fits my hands well, weight of the all steel frame isn't an issue with the right belt and holster, weight definitely helps with recoil, it shoots great, I'm a lefty so the ambi safety is a positive for me as well.
