Mind sharing what agency you were with when you were a cop?

Re: Printing rule? OC vs CC and shoulder vs belt
I am not new to weapons and I am not new to carrying weapons. I was a peace officer for 11-12 years and have worked in CJ for 23 yrs. certified weapons instructor and all.mojo84 wrote:Considering your penchant for the unknown moral dilemma, here is a thread regarding shoulder holsters you may want to read. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=78708&hilit=Shoulder+holster
Rather than being concerned about printing, should you be concerned about pointing a loaded gun at someone? Just food for thought considering that you are so new and all.
My question was directed correctly and has been responded to, I was concerned with printing in a shoulder holster, not a holstered weapon being pointed at someone

Printing rule? OC vs CC and shoulder vs belt
Ok, I am new here and waiting for my plastic. My question has to do with the new open carry vs CC concerning shoulder holster.
I often wear shorts so I was thinking it may be smart to get a shoulder holster. If I have a shoulder and wear an unbuttoned or loosely buttoned shirt over the shoulder holster, do I have to be concerned with printing.
Example. If a place such as say...whataburger is ok with CC but opposed to OC do you have to be worried about printing as an issue? I have never worn a shoulder, so I don't have a good example.
