Re: A nice benefit of Texas CHL
That is what the FFL dealer told me yesterday. He did NOT have to run a bg check if I showed him my CHL. He filled out the form and I was out in under 15 mins. The longest time took printing off a rebate form.

A nice benefit of Texas CHL
I purchased my 1st handgun yesterday since obtaining my CHL, it literally took less than 15 minutes. Added benefit of having a thorough background investigation conducted I guess!

Re: Gun control would be easy??
The thing the anti crowd will always fail to understand..... All proposals only effect law abiding citizens. At the moment a person decides to violate the law, there is no amount of regulation that will prevent the illegal act. I am a person that does not agree that every person is entitled to any w...

Re: Newby Question on Mail in vs. Email
I completed mine by email and received status change in 15 business days. (Waiting on plastic) Seems like it is going pretty fast if everything is in order.

Re: Carry on campus anyway - active shooter situation
Maybe I am jaded... I would doubt the individual was a CHLer or if he was in possession of a weapon at that time. Even a newby would know that it is illegal to carry on campus at this time. Furthermore, I don't know any other CHLers that openly admit to carrying. It is kind of the discussion that me...

Re: Printing rule? OC vs CC and shoulder vs belt
Considering your penchant for the unknown moral dilemma, here is a thread regarding shoulder holsters you may want to read. http://www.texaschlforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=78708&hilit=Shoulder+holster Rather than being concerned about printing, should you be concerned about pointing a load...

Printing rule? OC vs CC and shoulder vs belt
Ok, I am new here and waiting for my plastic. My question has to do with the new open carry vs CC concerning shoulder holster. I often wear shorts so I was thinking it may be smart to get a shoulder holster. If I have a shoulder and wear an unbuttoned or loosely buttoned shirt over the shoulder hols...

Re: Notify a business owner of unenforceable signs?
Nice try.... I never said I would tell a property owner what to do. I said I believe that the correct thing to do is advise them their sign is not correct This was your first response to the ops question. Yes, it is the RIGHT thing to do! You never mentioned advising. Which was in response to a pol...
