Posing a question is the extra one or two rounds worth the risk?
It's impact force that fires primers not sharpness. I don't think dropping a round on the primer will cause it to fire and if even if it did the result wouldn't be life threatening. As a kid, my brother and I used to stick .22 rounds into the dirt and shoot them with our BB guns. They made a nice loud pop great fun, until one of the cases hit me just above my eye. We decided to use the .22 shells for their intended purposes after that. We were dumb but not stupid.
