I agree with Johnson, but probably approach it a little differently. On the way to and returning from the range with my kids, we discuss conflict avoidance and safe gun handling techniques. I respect human life and want them to understand how sacred human life is. I also want them to understand that evil exists in this world and it will not simply go away if ignored.
