Correct, the examples he provided are for a first aid kit, not a trauma kit.

My first aid kit IS my trauma kit.

I carry an small bottle of 100 proof - the kind they have on airplanes - for infection or pain, small tube of super glue to seal cuts deep enough for stitches, and narrow strips of duct tape for bumps and scrapes. Other than that, I tell my children to tough it out.

Note that this is for general cuts, scrapes, and minor burns. That kit is not designed to treat massive hemorrhaging (aka so-called gunshot blowout kit).
