Re: John Cornyn of Texas is focused on bump-stocks

If we ever get national reciprocity there is no way in the world I'd take a handgun to a commie state. Never.

Best thing we can do for our gun rights - now more than ever

Take someone shooting that is new to guns. Talk to them about the Bill of Rights while you're at it.

Join the NRS, TSRA, SAF of whatever. Or don't. But whatever we do let's recruit.

The more of us the better.

Rifle range Colion Noir shoots at?

Does anyone happen to know which gun range you often see in Colion's YouTube videos? It' has a bunch of tires for backstops. I think he lives in Dallas these days but I'm not familiar with this gun range.
Thanks.

Re: OAL with folding stock -folded or unfolded in TX?

NotRPB, thanks. That's a good analysis. I think the "not-altered" piece is the key. I'll add, from other things I've read the stock must not be readily removeable, which I think should be obvious. Unfortunately for some, in California and Michigan the law does specify OAL is with the stock...

OAL with folding stock -folded or unfolded in TX?

As I understand federal law, the 26" minimum OAL requirement is measured with the stock fully extended or unfolded. What is the law in TX? I didn't see any reference in the TX penal code about whether the OAL is with an extended buttstock or not. Can anyone clarify Texas law for me?
Thanks!

Hiperfire EDT2 AR15 Trigger

I bought a Hiperfire EDT2 trigger for my first build to commence in the next few weeks. This AR is for my wife. Neither of us have shot an AR before, but we aren't new to guns. Primary purpose will be for HD, *HTF, etc. I wanted more than a mil-spec trigger, just because, but didn't want to spend a ...

Re: SB11 & HB910 This week....

Senator Huffman, I believe, was told during debate that carrying past a 30.06 sign on campus was a Class A misdemeanor. Didn't that get changed to a class C for carry on campus as well?
