I aint running with that one, because i will bet a months pay if something goes down they will throw the book at me for disobeying an officer in uniform. They are decked out in their HPD clothes with a badge so to me they are LEO. If they are under security guise then there uniform should reflect that.KBCraig wrote:When they do so, they're acting as private security. I only have been to the shows around Houston and they always have a cop at the front door asking about weapons.

Same right I would have at my house in telling you the rules of my place. They will probably have a police officer at the door and he will ask you , thus giving verbal notice. You dont have to go there so you agree to abide by their rules when entering. This to me would be different from a standard ghostbuster and such because they have a cop at the door asking and checking. If they had a non-valid sign posted and that was it then carry away.rspeir wrote:I'm confused. If there isn't a 30.06 sign, what authority would the gun show organizers have to require a chl holder to have his handgun checked and zip tied?
