GSX 600r. It was a veteran officer on the Stolen Car Squad. I dont remember what they call it officially. We always remove our plates unless we are riding. They get stolen a lot. Dont quite know why. We have gotten bikes back because the thief was riding around with no plates and got pulled over (as we planned). By we I mean a whole group of people.phddan wrote:You left out the most important part of the story...what kind of motorcycle???
Just kidding, sounds like another young and nervous officer.
Why no plates??

Brazoria County SD
Buddy pulled over for no plate on a trailered motorcycle under "reasonable suspicion". Officer took his license then asked if he had any weapons in the truck. He told him yes and we were told to get out. Officer took the pistol, and hid the gun in the truck. He let us go since the bike wasnt stolen and actually wrote down where the gun was hidden but said not to read the paper till he was gone! Little strange, but neither of us was a CHL at the time so i guess it ended ok. And yes, I know we were legal but try explaining that at 3 in the morning. We were on our way to a rally the next day.
