Re: Who do you trust?
Close, but no cigar. It makes sense to trust (but not necessarily "blindly believe") our intelligence agencies but not to expect they should predict our elections.Bitter Clinger wrote:Deleted: Meme about trusting Intelligence agencies

Yes, it seems to me that the media was much less biased (remember Cronkite, Huntley-Brinkley?) but I do think PBS is pretty objective (except when Brooks and Shields are on, maybe) and Time Magazine is highly respected. Ah well...

Re: Who do you trust?
OK, thanks for the feedback, especially the serious ones. I've been checking out some of the Internet prospects that many have mentioned and will continue to do so. Some of these are really nasty though and make me worry about the kind of material that is becoming so popular.
Thanks again!

Who do you trust?
Where do you go for reliable, objective, comprehensive, and accurate reporting of the days events?
There are a zillions of op-eds and we all have our favorite one but I'm curious what folks rely on to get a good unbiased report of what's going on? Ok, I'll admit I depend a lot on the Austin-American Statesman newspaper, Time, PBS (Charlie Rose especially) and Morning Joe (Scarborough) for reporting and review. What's better?
