Yep. My first truck was a 68 F100 with a 360 and 3 speed on the column. 4 wheel drum brakes, no power steering, no ac, and no carpet. I still have it but it needs work. Haven't driven her in 20 years. Nowadays, you could leave the keys in it and winding down. Nobody would know how to steal it

Some of us don't buy new cars. I thought this was a new thread and SIA and myself are kindred spirits. :biggrinjester: I bought my 03 accord in 2011 with 130k on the clock which put it 8 years old at the time. I purposely chose a 5 speed because long term I knew it would last longer than an auto. She's got 275k on it now, uses a little oil, and I just put new tires on her. The plan is to evaluate how its running about 315k and see if I keep driving it. I drive the company truck home most of the time so it will take awhile now.
