Where are you digging into on the Legislature's site to get to the committee's published calendars? This is my first session really paying attention to the process and it's truly dizzying.

Re: HB910/SB17 standoff

Maybe they can get the same amendments onto 17, and hammer it out in conference. If I understand the process corrcectly, which correct me if I'm wrong, right now 17 is further along than 910, but not by much.

Re: HB910/SB17 standoff

:thewave

Now let's finish this off. Committee in the house on sb 11 and 17 and hopefully a floor vote. Those two hurdles... 308 needs a floor vote in the house and the senate to take it up. Come on... :txflag:

Re: HB910/SB17 standoff

I've got my hopes up. Campus carry would be a great thing for me. 308 would be nice, but the fact that there's an entire segment of the population that can't carry their sidearms when they are licensed and background checked simply because they are on a college campus is ludicrous. Everyone who works, teaches, or goes to school on a college campus and is of legal age and licensed should be able to protect themselves when at work/school. The police can't be there every time something bad happens. As evidenced over and over again. :bigmouth
