Considering Selling My Colt at the Gun Show
As much as I love my Colt, I can't stand looking at it day after day, sitting in my safe, never to be fired. It's a beautiful piece of equipment. You just don't see this kind of deep blueing in todays firearms. Its a 1983-ish Colt Series 80 Gold Cup National Match, that has never been fired.
I can't stand to not fire it, and also can't stand looking at it and wishing. So I think I might just make the leap and sell it this weekend at the show. What is a fair price for this weapon? I definitely don't want to leave a blank spot in my safe, so I'l probably look to trade it with someone there for something nice. Maybe that AR-15 I want / need to get. I'm also open to the concept of trading it for a Benelli SBE II. But in either of those circumstances, I think my Colt is probably worth more.
Any thoughts?
