Good point! It's still like that in places, but I can't think of any Wal Mart that would be one of them. One time when I was out of town on business, I took the opportunity to kill some time and have my tires rotated at a national tire store chain. The first thing I did before handing my car over was discretely re-arm myself after having driven with it in the console. Who wouldn't do this without the some type of in car safe storage?
