Re: Training with Tactical Response in Bastrop this weekend?
Hope they don't throw your gun in the dirt! hahaha just playing :biggrinjester: "rlol" I wish I would have heard about it sooner or I would have looked into it. No worries! They have classes in Bastrop about twice a year, usually around the same time. They post class dates pretty far ahea...

Training with Tactical Response in Bastrop this weekend?
Howdy,
I'll be taking Tactical Response's Fighting Pistol class in Bastrop this weekend (April 2-3), and I was wondering if any other forum members will be in attendance. If you are attending, please let me know, because I would love to meet in person!

Re: McDonald's employee shot during robbery sues company
It will be interesting since they've already lost a similar suit here in Texas. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2014-07-30/mcdonald-s-loses-27-million-jury-verdict-over-2-deaths If they lose this one there's no telling what they might do. They already allow CC. Will they hire security guards...

Re: Had an interesting experience yesterday
Seems like you did very well under the circumstances.
You already noted that not having your gun on you was an issue.
Some would probably say this is a good situation for a truck gun (handgun or long gun), and I would agree.
Regardless, you may have saved that woman's life. Good job!

Re: Magazine Scenario
Magazines are not firearms, so not having a CHL alone would not cause any problems, IMO.

Re: Task force recommends that doctors should screen all adults for depression
While I was at A&M, the health clinic gave these screenings each time a patient went to the clinic to see a doctor. The nurse would give you a sheet of paper with three "How often have you felt or thought about X?" questions. Nothing I ever reported led to a doctor saying anything, bu...

Re: Who has been approached at a gas station with someone begging for money?
My story isn't from a gas station, but it seems relevant. Just yesterday morning I had a lady walk up to the window of my vehicle while I was disarming to head into school. She must have walked around from the car next to me just as I looked down to unholster, because as soon as I looked up she was ...

Re: First AR: Need input on a build
So following the Christmas rush, I jumped on a few Christmas and New Years sales. I picked up all the parts I needed for the lower receiver and assembled it last night. It took about an hour or so once I actually got started, and the whole process was not very difficult at all. I'm very happy with t...

Re: Original SOE-Customer Service Warning
SOE doesn't believe that the customer is always right. They will bend over backwards for a customer when they are polite and honest. That said, SOE is more than happy to lose a customer's business when they act overly entitled or when they get upset about the clearly posted lead times. I don't neces...

Re: Hickok45- terminated from youtube
We need a Youtube-like platform run buy pro-gun folks. Chas. Full30.com is just that. Most of the big gun channels on YouTube post all of their videos on Full30 as well. The problem is that it is a purely gun-based website, so it doesn't tend attract anyone who doesn't already know about it or anyo...
