John McAfee used to publish instructions on how to remove the McAfee antivirus, I don’t know if he still does. Maybe google around and see .

Mcafee is back in the US Because everybody in Belize on the rest of the world is after him, or so he says.

If you are an inventor/entrepreneur, McAfee is a good lesson in, among other things, why you should think twice about naming your product or your company after yourself. I have read many posts blaming him for problems with McAfee antivirus, and yet he has had nothing to do with that for over 20 years, maybe 25, and in fact recommends people do not install it. He doesn’t install himself. He sold the company back in the mid 90s, and liquidated all his holdings in a couple years later.

Actually he no longer has anything to do With the antivirus company he started, and if I remember correctly he recommends not Use their product and has even provided instructions on how to remove it.

He’s nuttier than a fruitcake but very entertaining. He has some great advice on how to travel in countries were the legal system may not operate according to US standards.
